PCC issues timely warning, looks for male suspect

TUCSON –Officials have issued a timely warning regarding a male suspect, who reportedly caused “several disturbances” on the Pima College West campus earlier this week.

Police say the suspect was contacted by police on campus and was warned for trespass on Monday.

The suspect is described as a White/Caucasian male, between 45-50 years old, and is 5’7” tall, weighs 180 lbs., with brown hair and eyes, and has 4” beard with gray streaks.

On Tuesday, the PCC Police Department received a report from a female “who reported being groped by someone fitting the same description.”

If you observe similar behaviors or have similar interactions with someone fitting this description, you are urged to contact the campus police at 520-206-2700.

How to Protect Yourself: Avoid dark vacant places, be alert. If you are being followed, head quickly to a lighted area or to a group of people; avoid places where you are vulnerable and there are no exits. When walking: Avoid shortcuts; walk where there is plenty of light and traffic; never walk alone at night unless absolutely necessary; report any suspicious activity or misconduct to police; Give your car the “once over” before entering with a crictical eye for possible break-ins or persons in the rear seat of floor area.
