The Palo Verde High School and University of Arizona graduate is an account executive at Ackerley Advertising. The Tucson Native also teaches at UA and NAU, and held leadership roles at the American Advertising Federation.
Since moving to Tucson in 2001, the Democrat candidate has served the community as a chairwoman at Downtown Tucson Partnership, president at MOCA and owner at R+R Developer. Dorman is also a proud wife and mother.
Daughter of migrant farm workers, Tucson’s first woman elected city council member served Ward 1 for three terms. The mother of two graduated from the UA and holds a post-graduate degree from Harvard Kennedy School.
