Vote-by-mail deadline for Tucson primary election is Wednesday

TUCSON – The Tucson primary election is around the corner.

That means it’s time to mail your voted ballots – the deadline is Wednesday. Mail-in ballots can still be dropped off at voting locations on Election Day which is Aug. 27.

For the City of Tucson, the mayor and city council member seats in Ward 1, 2 and 4 will be up for election. Those candidates who win the primary election will move on to the General Election on Nov. 5.
