Crime Trackers: High tech ring strikes Oro Valley

TUCSON –  A high tech crime ring is swooping in on the Tucson area. Oro Valley Police say they are stealing money in a way they’ve never heard of.

According to OVPD, on June 17, a suspect walked into the Pima Federal Credit Union in Oro Valley and opened up a fraudulent account.

The man then allegedly took other people’s banking information and started transferring money into his account.

The suspect is described as 5 foot 11 inches in between his late 20’s and early 30’s.
