TUCSON – A neighbor who has a surveillance camera just might be the key to finding who may be responsible for multiple burglaries in the Campbell and Skyline-area.
According to Pima County Sheriff’s Department Det. Robert Fiore, who is assigned to the burglary unit, a green Challenger was seen in the area where one of the burglaries took place Jan. 25.
That same vehicle was later seen at a gas pump in the Midvale-area.
Fiore said the suspect or suspects burglarized three homes breaking through the front doors. They stole electronics, jewelry and credit cards.
After viewing surveillance footage, Fiore said the same green Challenger was seen at a gas station where the stolen card was used.
In the surveillance camera at the gas station, two people were seen in the green Challenger. The video showed one person go inside the convenience store. They were also seen together at the gas pumps.
Fiore said he considers the pair persons of interest and would like to talk to them.
A neighbor who lives in the area said they have a Neighborhood Watch program. The neighbor said they make it a point to report any suspicious activity.
Fiore said if anyone has information, call 911 or 88-CRIME.
