$28M funding bond to go to charter schools in the county

TUCSON (KVOA) - The Pima County Board of Supervisors approved $28 million of funding bonds to go to education facilities within the county.

The approval is a part of Gov. Ducey's "Champion Schools Project" in which the money will go to help. In this case, charter schools with paying their leasing and operating costs.

The last champion series bond approved in 2017.
