Dollar General is offering its workers an incentive to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The chain says it will give workers a one-time payment equal to four hours of pay.
The company notes its hourly employees face hurdles to getting vaccinated, such as travel time, gas mileage and child care needs.
As of Oct. 30, the company had 157,000 workers.
They said getting the vaccine is a personal decision and that they will not require it.
Dollar General was deemed as an essential retailer and has stayed open throughout the pandemic.
