Gov. Ducey extends expiration date of drivers licenses
TUCSON (KVOA) - Governor Doug Ducey has extended an executive order delaying the expiration of drivers licenses.
The order defers requirements to renew standard drivers licenses with expiration dates between March 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021.
The deferral is good for one year from the original expiration date.
This is in effort to minimize in-person visits to Arizona Motor Vehicle Division offices and to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
