FC Tucson climbing after second straight home victory

TUCSON (KVOA) - Elivelton and Josh Coan scored in each half for FC Tucson in a 2-1 win Wednesday night over Forward Madison FC at Kino North Stadium. 

HIGHLIGHTS: FC Tucson 2, Forward Madison FC 1

The second straight home victory pushed FC Tucson (4-5-2, 14 points) up to fifth place in the USL League One table. 

FCT sits four points behind Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (5-3-3, 18 points) for the second and final playoff spot in this COVID19-shortened season. 

Amal King was brilliant in goal for the home side stopping nine shots. 

FC Tucson hosts Fort Lauderdale CF (3-5-2, 11 points, 8th) on Saturday with kickoff at 7 p.m.
