‘Slow Down’: Department of transportation creates traffic safety pledge
TUCSON (KVOA) - The Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility has a reminder for you. Slow down.
They remind residents to slow down in neighborhoods that have a 25 mile per hour speed limit.
The department is launching a yard sign pilot program. It is designed to remind drivers that reducing speed saves lives.
During the program, the department will be giving away free signs to those who take the safety pledge and commit to safe driving.
