TUCSON - News 4 Tucson will be holding its Screen 4 Life campaign on Friday, Feb. 14.
It’s a campaign to help remind our neighbors, family, and friends to get screened for someone they love.
KVOA and our community partners, Cologuard, El Rio, Live Moore and the Tucson Conquistadores, are on a mission to raise awareness about colon cancer and the need to get screened.
If you have questions about colon cancer screening or want to schedule an appointment with El Rio Community Health Center to get screened, you can call 520-670-3908.
Phones will be answered through 6 p.m. Friday night or you can text to donate!
The number for the text-to-donate is 44-321.
You just put the keyword SCREEN4LIFE in the text message and send it and it will send back the landing page for you to fill out your information.
News 4 Tucson's Sean Mooney will be reporting live throughout the day on Friday from El Rio Community Health Center.
"Colon cancer is very silent, until the very end, so that's why we want to screen people so you can get the colon cancer viewed and taken care of and treated early while it is still easily treatable," said Dr. Greg Raglow of El Rio Community Health Center.
Be sure and join us on Friday for our News 4 Tucson Screen 4 Life campaign from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
