Winter carries on with one big warm up

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TUCSON - The weather is gorgeous outside today. Ample sunshine and temperatures topping off into the mid-to-upper 60s for most spots.

A moisture starved weather maker will push through the area tomorrow and give us a 10% of showers. Better shower chances will reside in the mountains northeast of Tucson.

Snow levels will crash to 5,000 feet with only light accumulations possible way up high.

Temperatures will be cooler - topping off into the low-to-mid 60s both Wednesday and Thursday with nighttime lows in the 30s.

A nice warm-up is on tap for the weekend as high pressure builds in from the west.

This feature will propel temperatures into the mid 70s with tons of sunshine.

Although early on in the game, a substantial pattern change could bring much cooler weather, with a chance of precipitation.
