Festival of Books raises $2 million for literacy programs

TUCSON -- The Tucson Festival of books gave back to the community in a big way.

Over the past 12 years, organizers have been able to collect $2 million.

That money is going to three organizations in the Tucson area that provide literacy programs to children and adults.

This year's Tucson Festival of Books will be held on March 13 and 14.

Organizers expect thousands of people to take part in the free event.
