OVPD looking to catch Team Rocket grunt who attempted to steal $500 worth of Pokémon cards

TUCSON - Prepare for trouble! A member of Team Rocket is on the loose and he may be looking to nab your Pikachu. Well to be exact, your limited-edition, Pikachu Illustrator card worth more than $200,000.

Luckily for the trainers across the land, Oro Valley Police Department is searching far and wide in order to blast him off with help from the public.

According to OVPD, a man entered the Walmart Supercenter at 2150 E. Tangerine Rd. on Dec. 12. Police say the man attempted to leave with nearly $500 worth of Pokémon trading cards.

Officials say the man was seen leaving in a grey SUV, potentially a Dodge Durango, with a missing rear passenger side hub cap.

Anyone with information that would help OVPD catch this alleged Pokémon napper is advised to call 520-229-4900.
