Community to have thrills, chills for good cause during Cirque El Rio gala

TUCSON – Every year, members of the community get together for one glamorous night full of dancing, music and good times.

On the surface, the night may seem on that night is only about enjoying oneself. But if you ask anyone at El Rio Health, they will tell you that night is about so much more.

The annual gala fundraiser, Cirque El Rio is set to make memories this Friday. The event, which will be held at The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, will benefit El Rio Foundation’s Cancer Treatment Fund.

This fund is used to support new forms of cancer treatment and aid qualified El Rio patients combat cancer.

This year, the gala will feature a performance by Cirque Roots and music from The Lucky Devils Band.

Cocktail hour is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with dinner being served at 7 p.m.
