Census office has grand opening and hopes to fill thousands of positions

TUCSON – A new census office in Tucson had its grand opening at 3983 E. Grant Rd on Wednesday.

Mayor Jonathan Rothschild and other city officials made an appearance at the event.

Census officials hope to fill tens of thousands of positions to help conduct the 2020 census by January.

The Tucson location is one of six new offices in the state.
