Unruly passenger forces flight to divert to Tucson Airport

TUCSON – A man accused of assaulting Southwest Airlines passengers was apprehended after the plane was diverted to Tucson International Airport Tuesday night.

Tucson Airport Authority said a Southwest Airlines flight from Dallas headed to Los Angeles landed in Tucson because there was a suspect on board “who appeared to be intoxicated and had assaulted passengers.”

David Broseh was booked into the Pima County Jail for two counts of disorderly conduct and two counts of assault.

The flight took off from Tucson at approximately 9 p.m. to Los Angeles.
