Final day to register to vote in primary election

TUCSON – With local politicians gearing up for the primary election on Aug. 29, residents have only a few more hours to register to vote.

For the City of Tucson, the mayor and city council member seats in Ward 1, 2 and 4 will be up for election.

Residents who live within city limits have until midnight Monday to register to vote for the Aug. 27 primary election. Officials say this election will be conducted entirely by mail. Residents who wish to vote in this election are advised to check and update their current address.
