Local artist paints largest mural in Tucson

TUCSON – A Tucson muralist is at it again.

Joe Pagac is now working on the Old Pueblo’s largest mural, located near the intersection of Grant Road and Campbell Avenue.

The 5,000 square foot mural is one of five new murals, which are sponsored by Banner Health.

Local artists were chosen for the project to paint “relaxing scenes around town.”

The artists get to design their own murals –Pagac decided to paint the mural a lot bigger than he originally was asked because he thought it would look better.
