TPD hosts public active shooter presentation

TUCSON – What to do when there’s an active shooter situation?  Would you know how to react if a gunman invaded your work office?

While active shooter situations are unpredictable, Tucson Police Department says there are ways to protect yourself and your family.

TPD will host a free public active shooter presentation from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at 1310 W. Miracle Mile.

The department says the presentation is intended to discuss preparedness strategies, potential warning signs and actual methods to consider if you are confronted with an active shooter.
