Two injured in vehicle crash near 1st Ave, Tangerine Rd

TUCSON—Two patients are being transported to the hospital after being involved in a vehicle collision near First Avenue and Tangerine Road Friday afternoon.

Golder Ranch Fire says the patients suffered minor injuries.

A poll chemical spill was reported in the incident, prompting HAZMAT units to be dispatched to the scene.

The intersection of Tangerine Road and First Avenue was shut down initially in relation to the incident. It has since been reopened, according to Oro Valley Police Department.
