UA’s Nick Quintana talks about opening Pac-12 play

TUCSON – The Arizona Wildcats (10-6) kick off Pac-12 Conference play this weekend at Hi Corbett Field with a three-game series against the Utah Utes (6-6).

Since 2016, the Wildcats have posted a strong home conference record, going 28-17 in Pac-12 games played at Hi Corbett. This year’s squad will turn to its prodigious offense to help build on that resume – infielder Cameron Cannon and outfielder Matt Fraizer are both tied for the conference lead with 29 hits, while Cannon’s 11 doubles are tied for the most in the nation heading into this weekend.  Here’s more as-seen-on-KVOA sportscast:
