Hands-free bill passes House Transportation Committee

PHOENIX- Arizona Lawmakers are one step closer to making Arizona hands-free driving state.

According to Look! Save a Life Executive Director Brendan Lyons, The House Transportation Committee passed the distracted-driving bill on Thursday, March 14th.

The bill will continue being voted on by legislators.

If passed, drivers won’t be allowed to touch their phone or other electronic devices.

Twenty-five jurisdictions in the state have already created local legislation.
