Sierra Vista chaplain arrested for sexual assault, kidnapping

A felony arrest warrant on Doug Packer at his residence in Sierra Vista/ Cochise County Sheriff’s Office

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. – A chaplain serving Sierra Vista was arrested in connection to a sexual assault and kidnapping case Friday morning.

Doug Packer was arrested by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at his residence in Sierra Vista, police says.

Packer faces charges of sexual abuse, sexual assault, sexual misconduct, kidnapping and indecent exposure.

He is being processed into the Cochise County Jail.

His bond was set at $250,000.
