Turkey cupcakes are a great holiday dessert that I love (and so will everyone else)!  Follow the baking directions on your store bought chocolate cupcake mix. If you’re feeling daring- go ahead and make yours from scratch. Once the cupcakes are baked, let the cool completely! If you don’t the frosting will melt and your turkey decor won’t stay put.

Once cooled, take each cupcake and frost it. Fill a cereal bowl with chocolate sprinkles and dip each frosted cupcake into the sprinkles.

Place two marshmallows on the cupcake for eyes. Take a toothpick and dip it into the chocolate frosting. Poke each marshmallow with your frosted toothpick to make the pupil of the eye. Place a candy corn, large side pushed into the cupcake, for the beak. Place multiple candy corns pointy-side down into the cupcake, so they look like tail feathers. Lastly, take red frosting and put a squiggly line on one side on the beak, as the turkey’s snood. Then… EAT!

TIP: Fill cupcake wrappers high with batter before baking. The bigger the cupcake, the easier they are to decorate!
