CBP seizes $570K worth of meth at Arizona port of entry

TUCSON – Authorities have arrested a man who is accused of smuggling more than 190 pounds of methamphetamine at the Port of Lukeville.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers said the 44-year-old from Caborca, Sonora, was stopped on Wednesday

Investigators said officers discovered more than 170 packages of meth hidden inside the vehicle’s rear floorboard.

CBP said the drugs have an estimated value of more than $570,000.
