On Saturday the TENWEST Festival kicked off in downtown Tucson. The festival gives residents a chance to look at the future of Tucson through workshops, panels and performances.
TENWEST first started four years ago by Startup Tucson. The event goes through Sunday, October 21st. Those interested in attending can buy a pass starting at $10.
“Today is discover local. It’s our first day of workshops and panels…We’re super excited to be here at the museum of art,” Liz Pocock CEO of Startup Tucson said,”There’s a bunch of free content for families to enjoy and then you can use your $10 TENWEST passport to get into a bunch of micro workshops with all sorts of great local Tucson businesses.”
This weeks festivities is expected to bring over 5,000 people out to downtown Tucson. For a list of scheduled events click here.
