Reporter – Allie Potter

Allie Potter joins News 4 Tucson as a reporter in March of 2018.

She comes from an Emmy Award-winning station, KMTR in Eugene, Oregon, where she was the Morning Anchor for more than three years.

Allie is a southern belle from Houston and received her broadcasting degree from the University of Texas at Arlington (Go Mavs!).

Her love for broadcasting began during a mission trip to New Orleans, where she helped victims of Hurricane Katrina. So it’s very fitting she began her career in Louisiana.

She fell in love with mornings as a Reporter at KODE in Joplin, Missouri, and filled in as Morning Anchor.

Allie is a sports fanatic! She loves cheering on her Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. She used to be an in-game host and Six Shooter (cheerleader) for the Texas Rangers during the World Series and the 2012 All-Star Game in Kansas City.

She loves golf and even more, because she met her husband, Zak, while playing in a golf tournament. They can’t wait to tee it up in Tucson . . . FORE!

Allie, Zak, their son, Luke, and their two Pomeranians, Paris and Pierre, are excited to call Tucson home.
