News 4 Tucson Cooks and Copper Rock Craft Eatery make a classic appetizer with a modern twist.


3oz lightly seared ahi tuna

2 oz sriracha aioli

2 oz unagi sauce

1 oz shredded carrots

1 oz shaved green cabbage

1 oz shaved red cabbage

¼ sliced avocado

2 tablespoon sesame seeds

2 oz wakame

12 sheets wonton wrappers deep fried

1oz sesame oil


Lightly seer sesame crusted tuna loin for 30 seconds on each side. Dice tuna loin into small pieces. Mix carrots, red cabbage, green cabbage, with sesame oil.

Directions for Plating

Place fried wonton wrappers on desired plate, add slaw mix on top of wonton wrappers evenly. Top with diced ahi tuna, wakame seaweed salad, and fanned sliced avocado. Finish with unagi sauce, sriracha aioli, and toasted sesame seeds.
