Gourmet Girls Chicken Wings
12 chicken wings, third joint removed and discarded
¼ tsp seasoned salt
1 cup gf all purpose flour
1 tsp coarse salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp paprika
2 quarts oil for frying
Hot sauce or BBQ sauce, blue cheese dressing for dipping and season wings lightly with seasoned salt.
Directions: Mix flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and paprika together in wide shallow bowl. Dredge wings in four mixture to coat and arrange on the tray so that they do not touch. Refrigerate coated wings for 15-30 minutes. Dredge wings again in flour mixture, and return to tray and refrigerate another 15-30 minutes. Fry wings in hot oil for for 9-10 minutes until the thermometer reads 165 degrees fahrenheit. Transfer wings to bowl, and drizzle with sauce and toss to coat. serve with blue cheese dressing.
