¼ C Butter

2 TBS Flour

3 TBS Mince Shallot

2 TBS Mince Garlic

1 Lb. Shrimp (shelled & Deveined)

1 C Beef/Chicken Stock

1 TBS diced green onion

1 TBS Diced Parsley

1 TBS Salt/ 1 TBS Pepper

Preparation Instructions:

In a large saucepan, combine butter & Flour. Cook over low to medium heat for 7 min, stirring often. Stir in garlic and Shallots, sale & pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until shallots and garlic become soft. Add stock, bring to a boil for 4-5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until just turns opaque. Remove from Heat Garnish with green onion and parsley. Serve over rice or grits
