TUCSON - The Finger Rock Trailhead is home to two of the most popular Tucson hikes including the Finger Rock and Pontatoc Trails.
It's also home to a lesser-known hike...the Pontatoc Ridge Trail. To get there, you’ll need to start on the Pontatoc Trail. After about a mile of some up and down, you'll reach Pontatoc Ridge.
You’ll find amazing views of Tucson down below and even some abandoned mine shafts. Reaching those mines takes up to two hours from the trailhead, all the while gaining one-thousand feet in elevation!
Directions and a trail map for the Pontatoc Ridge Trail can be found right here. Happy hiking!
