Hittin’ the Trails 4 You: Molino Basin Trail

At an elevation of 4,000 feet in the Santa Catalina Mountains is the Molino Basin Trail.

This is a 4.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail.

This spot mixes prickly pears and cacti with grasses and wildflowers. You may even see wildlife!

Hikers say this trailhead is not marked but should be easy to follow.

This trail gains 774 feet and is rated moderate in difficulty.

The best part is that you can bring your 4 legged friend along with you. Just make sure your pet is kept on a leash.

A trail map and directions can be found here.
