Located at Saguaro National Park East, the Garwood Dam Loop features a variety of hiking trails that you can choose from.
This trail gains 730 feet in elevation and is about a 5 ½ mile trek.
This spot features classic desert mountain views and is great for all skill levels. This may be a nice spot to take the family to.
Keep in mind, the dam is still intact, but visitors are asked not to walk on it.
Additionally, there is not a lot of shade, so it’s suggested that you hike the trail early and stay hydrated.
