Ready for as challenging hike?
Located at the popular Sabino Canyon, Blackett’s Ridge gains high elevation in just a short distance.
The hike features several switchbacks (near twenty!), and this hike is rated difficult in skill level.
However, it’s beautiful! During the spring and summer seasons, cacti and Ocotillo plants are in full bloom, which can make for an enjoying viewing experience.
Keep in mind this trail is limited in shade, so it’s suggested that you go in the early morning hours, wear plenty of sunscreen, and drink plenty of water.
If you make it to the top, hikers say it is worth the stunning panoramic views.
