Hittin’ the Trails 4 You: Cathedral Rock

If you’re taking a trip to Sedona, then head to Cathedral Rock!

This awesome trail is only about one mile in length, but don’t let that fool you. This hiking spot is quite the climb and difficult in skill level.

First you will hike over a fairly rocky section, before arriving at a crack in the rock. This crack rises at a 45 degree angle for approximately 40 feet.

There are footholds to make the ascent, but if you are wary of heights you may consider turning around.

After a steady climb and a few switchbacks, you’ll finally reach the summit. Plus, if you get to the top, the views are spectacular.

A trail map and directions can be found here.
