Hittin’ the Trails: The Baby Jesus Trail

TUCSON – It’s a trek that’s popular around Christmas.

The Baby Jesus Trail resides in the western slopes of the Santa Catalina Mountains. It’s namesake is derived from a rock formation that looks like a mother cradling her child.

Groups like the Duke’s Roadrunners make the pilgrimage to the rock formation every holiday season.

Expect a 5 mile round trip hike with moderate difficulty.
