TUCSON (KVOA)- Some viewers had questions about the vaccine and wanted to know if they get a COVID-19 vaccine, will it give them the coronavirus?
The Pima County Health Department said the answer is no.
According to the PCHD: "There are no vaccines near approval that use live virus, and a COVID-19 vaccine will not cause you to test positive for COVID-19. The goal of the vaccine is to provide your body with the tools it needs to fight the COVID-19 virus if you were to get infected."
If you have concerns about whether you should be vaccinated, contact your doctor.
