Sachiko McClurg’s body has yet to be located one year later

It was a year ago this month when Sachiko McClurg and her daughter Jeni were kidnapped by her daughter’s estranged husband. Jeni was rescued, Sachiko has never been found. Detectives said they believe she is buried somewhere in the desert between a 90 mile stretch of road between Mesa and Oro Valley.

A cabin under construction was burglarized on April 4 on Mt. Lemmon. Pima County Sheriff’s Burglary Detective Scott Dunaway told News 4 Tucson, this is very unusual. He added especially this cabin because it was very treacherous to get to and it was off the main road not visible at all.
