Notre Dame’s famous ‘Rudy’ speaks at AZ Bowl Luncheon

Over 700 people turned out to the 2019 Nova Home Loans Bowl Kickoff Luncheon.  The keynote speaker was Rudy Ruettiger, the man who’s life was based on the movie “Rudy”.  Here’s more from our Thursday sportscast: 

UA football about a TD underdog vs. Washington

The Arizona Wildcat football team opened up in Las Vegas as a nearly ten point underdog vs. Washington.  However, now it’s down to about a touchdown.  Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on Saturday at Arizona Stadium. Here’s more from Wednesday’s sportscast:

After winning 6 post-season games in a row to close off the 2018-2019 as the WNIT champs, Coach Adia Barnes and the Arizona Wildcat women’s basketball team has higher expectations this season.

UA Wide Receiver Casteel talks about amazing TD (called back)

Arizona wide receiver Brian Casteel is turning heads with his athletic ability. He had an amazing TD catch and run (breaking several tackles) against UCLA -Only to be called back because it was determined his knee hit the ground upon catching the ball.  Here’s more from Casteel (and on the run) from our Thursday sportscast: 

UA Players praise Freshman QB Grant Gunnell

Despite throwing for 352 yards and a TD en route to a big win for the Wildcats of UCLA, freshman Grant Gunnell will probably continue to backup senior Khalil Tate at QB throughout the rest of the season.
