Anchored in Tradition: Lupita’s Tex-Mex Chili con Queso

INGREDIENTS:
1 2lb. loaf of Velveeta Cheese you can also use Fry’s Queso Blanco with Jalapeno
1 15 oz. can Chili con Carne (Dennison’s or Hormel)
1 10 oz. can Rotel (tomatoes and green chiles)

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Cube the cheese and place in a microwave proof glass dish
Pour chili over the cheese
Pour Rotel over the cheese
Place in microwave cook on high 5 minutes
Stir and place in microwave for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted
Serve with tortilla chips
You can also pour the cheese over baked potato , hamburgers, eggs, tamales
You can even use it in refried beans
