Poor social relationships may increase the risk of bone loss in older women

NBC NEWS – Poor social relationships may increase the risk of bone loss in older women.

According to a new University of Arizona study of 11,000 postmenopausal women. Researchers assessed the women’s bone health and asked them to describe their social interactions and environment.

Women who felt high levels of stress due to poor quality relationships were more likely to have bone loss over the next six years.
